Respiratory

The Respiratory Department at Montefiore Nyack Hospital has one goal—to help our patients breathe better. We provide state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient services for individuals who require treatment for a variety of respiratory disorders, including asthma, emphysema, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Our respiratory therapists are specially trained to care for the unique needs of patients who suffer from respiratory illnesses and are educated in oxygen therapy, pulmonary function testing, and the operation of equipment to assist breathing.
