Montefiore Nyack Hospital is bringing you the same world-renowned care provided by at the Heart Failure Program on Montefiore Einstein's main campus in New York City. The same experts diagnose and treat patients with heart failure and cardiomyopathies and provide services ranging from advanced cardiac imaging, pharmacological and device based therapies for heart failure, to evaluation for ventricular assist devices and heart transplantation in their center here at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.
Heart failure, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies including those due to amyloid and sarcoid, arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, heart muscle disease, pericardial disease.

Urlich Jorde, MD
Dr. Jorde is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation. He received his Medical Doctorate from Hamburg University in Germany, his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY and fellowship in Cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, NY. Dr. Jorde is the Section Head of Heart Failure at Montefiore. He is a world renowned expert in heart failure management and fluent in English and German.
Sandhya Murthy, MD
Dr. Murthy is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. She completed her internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY, NY, fellowships in Congestive Heart Failure Clinical Research and Cardiovascular Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and a Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantion at Columbia University Medical Center in NY, NY. Dr. Murthy is an Attending Physician at Montefiore, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
